Derrick Blaine Reykdal is the President of Derrick Blaine Homes Inc. Derrick began his residential home building career in 1993 as an estimator and draftsperson for a small custom home building company in Winnipeg. Derrick quickly worked through the ranks of various homebuilding companies as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager. Since 1993, he has built over 700 homes, renovated over 400 homes, and designed over 200 homes. The variety of homes he has built include Ready to Move (RTM) homes, custom homes in rural Manitoba, executive custom homes ($500,000 to $1,000,000 in value), high volume tract homes (in various Winnipeg subdivisions), and condominiums (bungalow, semi-detached, and apartment style).

Derrick is a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) and a Certified Housing Professional (CHP) as certified by the Manitoba Home Builder's Association. He not only has the technical expertise and experience to handle most aspects of residential construction, he continues to assist other builders with the same. In fact to this date, Derrick is often retained as a Project Manager by other home building companies to assist them with their own home building projects. Derrick has developed production systems, service procedures, quality control programs, and customer relationship programs for some of the largest home building companies in Winnipeg.
